Conflict Minerals Declaration

Linked Electronics Co., Limited is committed to responsible sourcing of materials and components. We recognize the importance of ensuring that our supply chain does not contribute to human rights abuses or environmental damage associated with the mining of conflict minerals.

In accordance with Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, we monitor the use of the following conflict minerals in our products and supply chain:

Tantalum (Ta)Tin (Sn)Tungsten (W)Gold (Au)

We require our suppliers to provide Conflict Minerals Reporting Templates (CMRT) and conduct due diligence through the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) framework to ensure minerals are sourced from conflict-free smelters and refiners.

Our commitment:

  • We do not knowingly source conflict minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries
  • We work only with suppliers who comply with our conflict minerals policy
  • We support industry-wide efforts toward responsible mineral sourcing
  • CMRT documentation available upon request

Lead (Pb)max 0.1% by weight
Mercury (Hg)max 0.1% by weight
Cadmium (Cd)max 0.01% by weight
Hexavalent Chromium (Cr VI)max 0.1%
Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)max 0.1%
Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE)max 0.1%

Our RoHS compliance process includes:

  • Material traceability from approved RoHS-compliant suppliers only
  • Incoming material inspection and documentation review
  • Lead-free (SAC305) solder paste available for all assembly orders

Automotive Quality

IATF 16949 Quality Management

IATF 16949 is the international quality management system standard for the automotive industry, combining ISO 9001 requirements with additional automotive-specific requirements developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF).

For automotive PCB customers, we support the following IATF 16949 aligned processes:

APQP

Advanced Product Quality Planning — structured process for new product development and launch

PPAP

Production Part Approval Process — documentation and sample approval before mass production

FMEA

Failure Mode & Effects Analysis — risk identification and prevention in manufacturing processes

Control Plans

Documented quality checkpoints at each stage of PCB fabrication and assembly

MSA

Measurement System Analysis — ensuring inspection equipment accuracy and repeatability

SPC

Statistical Process Control — monitoring process capability and consistency

Customers requiring IATF 16949 documentation packages including control plans, FMEA, and PPAP submissions should indicate this requirement at the time of enquiry. Contact: sales@linked-elec.com
